Delaware law SB85

Requires schools to report discipline data to the state and implement certain changes if irregularities are detected. If a school’s rate of suspension or expulsion is too high (as defined by the Delaware legislature as more than 20 per 100 students) or if their suspension gap is equal to or more than 20%, then the school must conduct a formal review of its discipline policies, incorporate restorative practices, and increase professional development opportunities for teachers and other staff.
